The Bulls have struggled with COVID and injuries this season, and they will not have assistant coaches Chris Fleming and Damian Cotter for Game 1 after testing positive for COVID-19. There was hope Lonzo Ball could return for the postseason after suffering an injury in January, but his season is over. Chicago will be led by DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine as two All-Stars, but the Bulls will need plenty of help in Game 1 in Milwaukee to pull off an upset.

The defending NBA Finals champions finished in a three-way tie for second place in the Eastern Conference. DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Bucks as the favorites to win the conference and reach the NBA Finals again. Giannis Antetokounmpo put together another fantastic season, averaging 29.9 points with 11.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game as he looks to lead the Bucks to a second straight championship.

The Chicago Bulls haven't won a contest against the Milwaukee Bucks since May 16 of last year, but they'll be looking to end the drought Sunday. After a few days' rest for both teams, they will meet up at 6:30 p.m. ET April 17 at Fiserv Forum. Chicago isn't favored, but they just beat the odds in their last matchup, so don't count them out.

It was a close one, but last week the Bulls sidestepped the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 124-120 win. Chicago's power forward Patrick Williams was one of the most active players for the team, picking up 35 points.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee received a tough blow last week as they fell 133-115 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Milwaukee was down 111-79 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from. Point guard Jevon Carter wasn't much of a difference maker for Milwaukee; Carter finished with only three points on 1-for-11 shooting in his 33 minutes on the court.

Chicago is now 46-36 while the Bucks sit at 51-31. A pair of offensive numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Bulls rank third in the league when it comes to field goal percentage, with 48% on the season. Milwaukee has displayed some offensive firepower of their own as they come into the game boasting the third most points per game in the league at 115.5.

It took until the final day to determine the standings and first-round matchups in the Eastern Conference, and when all the dust settled the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks were in third place, setting up a matchup with their Central Division rival, the sixth-place Chicago Bulls.

After a grueling title run and a condensed offseason, this season was always going to be a grind for the Bucks, and they struggled with injuries and inconsistent play at various times. Still, they have arguably the best player in the world in Giannis Antetokounmpo and remain one of the favorites to win it all. In this series, in particular, they are massive favorites.

That is in large part because the Bulls have fallen apart down the stretch. They revamped the roster last summer and it paid off early on. In fact, they were still atop the East standings as late as Feb. 26. But they, too, were decimated by injuries and were not able to sustain their hot start. DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine will give them a chance, but they face an uphill battle....etyr xdyhdhyxderyxd ryhfdtrfftru
